Health care common ground anyone?

Ok, given the current health care debate, why can’t there be a consensus that ordinary working people going into bankrupcy because they got sick isn’t cool. Can’t we all agree on that and work backwards, whatever the solution is. It bugs me that people make these issues so complex and act like there should be no descision that needs any type of sacrifice or consequence.
